Albert Gerbrandt is a Red Seal certified Carpenter by trade.  He is retired from teaching Carpentry at Red River College where he taught for 30+years.

He is passionate about the trades, specifically Carpentry.

Since retiring he has been building and renovating houses.  

​

His hobbies include old cars, motorcycles, snowmobiling and this ladder safety project.

With his lifetime of experience and the help of his brother Henry and brother in law Brian he has developed and is patenting the Slip Stop Extension Ladder Stabilizer which keeps the extension ladder from slipping outward.
